About Ladakh
Ladakh is a land like no other. Bounded by two of the world’s mightiest mountain ranges, the Great Himalaya and the Karakoram, it lies athwart two others, the Ladakh range and the Zanskar range. In geological terms, this is a young land, formed only a few million years ago by the buckling and folding of the earth’s crust as the Indian sub-continent pushed with irresistible force against the immovable mass of Asia. Ladakh was once covered by an extensive lake system, the vestiges of which still exist on its south-east plateau of Rupshu and Chushul in drainage basins with evocative names like Tsomoriri, Tsokar and grandest of all, Pangong Tso. With its borders touching Tibet, Chinese Sinkiang and Baltistan and with the Soviet Union, Pakistan and Afghanistan in close proximity, Ladakh occupies a highly strategic position.

Ladakh lies at altitudes ranging from about 9,000 feet at Kargil to 25,170 feet at Saser Kangri in the Karakoram. Thus summer temperatures rarely exceed about 27 degree in the shade, while in winter they may plummet to minus 20 degree even in Leh. Surprisingly though, the thin air makes the heat of the sun even more intense than at lower altitude, it is said that only in Ladakh can a man sitting in the sun with his feet in the shade suffer from sunstroke and frostbite at the same time.

Day 03: Leh – Khardongla Pass – Leh 85 Kms	After breakfast day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motor able pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of world records. Day 03: Leh – Khardongla Pass – Leh 85 Kms	After breakfast full day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of world records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountain. In the evening back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Leh – Pangong Lake - Leh (290 Kms)	Leave early morning at 5AM to Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Overnight at Hotel.

NUBRA: The Nubra valley lies in the north of leh and is accessible over the Khardungla pass 5600 Mtrs which is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The Nubra valley has opened for Foreign Tourists in 1994 by the Govt. of India to expand tourists opportunities in ladakh region. The valley is on the trade route from leh to Khangar via Samsar and Karakoram passed. Apart from unparraled trekking opportunities. The valley have serval Buddhist Gompas Diskit Gompa is 350 years old and is situated on the highest point near the village in which there are about 120 Resident Buddhist Monks. The Nubra valley is also known for its double humped bacterian camels.
Day 06: Nubra - Leh	After breakfast at the camp, Departure to Leh with lunch box. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for shopping and independent activities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Leh - Chumathang - Tsomoriri (240 Kms)	Leave in the morning and drive to Chumathang stop at Upshi for check point. From here the road turns towards left and reach Karu. Chumathang is famous for medical hot spring & people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive upto Maha bridge the main checking point to enter to this new area. From here the road is rough. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds. Chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown headed gull. The Lake is 8 Kms. Wide and 28 Kms long. Overnight in tents.
Day 04: Tsomoriri	In the morning visit Korzok village with its houses and its gompa appearing like a mirage. The few barley fields at Korzok must be among the highest cultivation in the world. In the afternoon visit around the Lake. Dinner and overnight in tents.
Day 05: Tsomoriri - Korzok - Puga - Tsokar - Tanglangla - Leh	Drive to Mahe village and the road turns left from here towards Puga Valley. The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. This is Butan gas which Puga valley is famous. Continue drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass (13500 ft.) and visit Tsokar (small Lake) and one can visit Thugke gomp. The place is famous for wild asses are generally seen here grazing and they seem moving in flocks. From here short drive and reach on National Highway route (Leh - Manali). Continue drive towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass (5350 Mtrs.) which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Arrive Leh in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Leh	Day for Rafting in Indus River which starts from Phe to Nimu. Hot Lnch at back of Indus. In the later afternoon return back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Leh to Sarchu (255 Kms)	After an early breakfast we check out from the hotel and drive to Sarchu via through Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft world second highest motorable road. At Pang you can stop for lunch and continue driving to Lachungla pass, which is at a height of 5065 mts. Upon arrival in Sarchu we check in at our Camp for overnight. It will also be the coldest night during the whole tour.
Day 06: Sarchu to Manali (222 Kms)	Today we start our journey to Manali via Baralacha Pass (4890m), Keylong (3350 m), & Rohtang Pass (3978 m). Manali, Located in the most charming and beautiful Kullu valley spreads out its charm on either side of river Beas.Kullu was once known as Kulanthpitha, which means the end of the habitable world. Beyond rose the forbidding heights of the Greater Himalayas, and by the banks of the shining river Beas, lay the fabled 'Silver Valley'. The valley runs north to south of Beas River and is 80 kms. Long and about 2 kms wide. Upon arrival we check in at our hotel. Evening at leisure to exlore the area on your own and overnight stay at the hotel
Day 07: Manali (Local S/S)	Post breakfast We take a half day sightseeing tour of Manali visiting Hadimba Devi and the Old Manali to see the Manu temple. In the afternoon, you can visit the Vaishisht hot sulphur spring bath. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel

Day 01: Srinagar	On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our representative at the airport and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat (Mahjong Group of Houseboats). Afternoon free for personal activities. Evening shikara ride on Dal Lake to enjoy the sunset on the Lake. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 02: Srinagar - Local sightseeing 50 Kms	Half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). Return to houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. Day 03: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar 112 Kms	Full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. Day 04: Leh - Khardongla Pass - Leh 85 Kms	Srinagar - Sonmarg - Kargil 205 Kms Leave in the morning and drive to Kargil by car/coach and road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonmarg (2740 Mtrs) After Sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the world) we stop here for tea and passport check. Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which has got its importance after opening of Ladakh for tourists in 1974. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Kargil - Leh 235 Kms	Leave in the morning full day drive to Leh today we have to ascend three passes this day will be tiresome but panoramic too. First Buddhist village will be Mulbek. We have to cross the highest pass (Fotula 13749 ft.) on Srinagar Leh route. At lunch time we will be at Lamayuru oldest Monastery. Continue drive to next village Nimu a view of Zanskar River following into Indus. Finally we reach Leh 3500 Mtrs. Overnight at Hotel.

13 Nights / 14 Days - Ladakh Tour Package
This is the tour of three different parts of the Jammu and Kashmir. The Landscape are completely different from one each. You will visit most ancient monasteries during the tour. Zanskar  towards each other along the northern flank of the Great Himalaya, meet in the broad plain of Padam. Day 04: Kargil – Rangdom	(135 Kms) After Kargil drive towards Zanskar valley on the way see Panikar and Parkachan villages view of Nun & Kun peaks are seen. Arrive Rangdom in the evening. Overnight in Tents.
Day 05: Rangdom – Padam	(150 Kms) After short drive, we stop at Rangdom Gompa and visit the Gompa Continue drive to Padam which is the Capital of Zanskar valley on the way cross Pensila pass 4401 Mtrs and some ancient Buddhist villages. After crossing Tungri bridge visit Sunni Gompa finally we reach Padam in the late afternoon. Overnight in Tents.
Day 06: Padam	Day to visit Pipitong, Thonde Gompa and Zangla 3450 Mtrs this is the most beautiful village with ancient Zangla Gompa and you may get chance to visit Queen’s house at Zangla. On the way return visit Karsha Gompa which is one of the oldest Monastery. Overnight in Tents.
Day 07: Padam – Bardan Gompa	(7/8 Hrs. trek) Full day trek to Bardan Gompa on the way back visit Padam market and Padam Gompa. Overnight in Tents.
Day 08: Padam – Kargil	(285 Kms) Full day drive to Kargil and in the evening we reach Kargil. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09: Kargil – Uletokpo	(153 Kms) Full day drive to Uletokpo and we have to cross highest pass on Srinagar leh route Fotula 13749 Fts. On the way visit Mulbek  and Lamayuru  monastery one of the oldest Monastery in Ladakh region. Continue drive to Uletokpo in the late afternoon one may visit to Rizong  monastery by foot 5 Kms to  and fro. Overnight in Tents.
Day 10: Uletokpo – Leh	(81 Kms) After short drive we reach to Alchi Monastery and continue drive to Leh via some interesting Buddhist villages. Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Leh (ladakh)	Full day excursion  to Shey, Thiksey  and  Hemis Monastery which is most popular Monastery in Ladakh region. return back to Hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12: Leh (ladakh)	Morning half day sightseeing tour of Spituk  and Phyang monastery. Afternoon visit by foot to Kings palace, Tsemo Gompa, Leh Mosque, Leh Bazar and Shankar Gompa. Overnight  at Hotel.
Day 13: Leh (Ladakh)	Morning half day excursion to Stok Palace/Museum and on the way back visit Tibetan Refugee Camp. Afternoon day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 14: Leh	Transfer in time to the airport to connect onward destination flight.
